We are boy scout troop 172. Would you like your son to become achievement oriented? Develop self-reliance and leadership skills? And, much more? Then come and visit us at a troop meeting to see what boy scouts is all about.
- To join boy scouts, a boy must be 11 years old. However, boys who have completed fifth grade, or boys who are 10 years old and have earned the Arrow of Light while in cub scouts, may also join.
- Troop 172 meets Thursday evenings 7:00-8:30 during the school year (not during summer) at the New Paltz Reformed Church, Wullschleger Education Building (92 Huguenot St./Broadhead Ave.), 3rd floor. Important: If there is no school, there will be no meeting; snowday, holiday, etc.
- Meetings are held throughout the year except during July and August.
- Troop 172 is part of New York’s Rip Van Winkle Council in the Algonquin District.
